What Is The Difference Between Wealth And Riches? The answer to this question can have a direct impact on your view of money.
What Is The Difference Between Wealth And Riches – Why You Are Reading This
There is also a very key reason why many of us are broke and always seem to be chasing money.
Many of you reading this post, and similar posts like it, are here because you want to learn how to create a five or six-figure income in a reasonable amount of time.
However, the key is to learn how to stop chasing money and build a profitable online business where the
Many of you are also here because you recognize one major, ongoing problem in your life that you can never seem to get a handle on:
You’re broke.
Seriously, painfully BROKE!
But here’s the scary part:
From the time of birth until now, you are the result of

Surrounding yourselves with these people, by default, results in a mindset of lack, limitation, and poverty.
Most people we come in contact with have actually allowed lack, limitation, and scarcity to be a regular part of their lives!

Let’s Analyze The Facts
When discussing what is the difference between wealth and riches, there are certain facts that are
• The minute you are born the first person that touched you after delivery was a nurse… and he/she was probably
• Your parents, who will raise you, are broke. In turn, they put you into
• Later, you went to high school where you continue your association with broke teachers. After that, college surrounds you with thousands of broke students and faculty members.
• Then you graduated and got a job working for broke managers.
• All so you could then hang out with friends and relatives that are also broke.
Now, can you see how you have been conditioned to be broke?
The family, friends, and associates we know have subconsciously accepted that there’s some misguided virtue in being broke.
Religious Views Of Money
Mainstream religion has contributed to misconceptions about money. Many have concluded you aren’t a Christian if you acquire money. They quote the scriptures to prove it. “The love of money is a root of all evil” – 1 Timothy 6:10
“Let your way of life be free of the love of money.” – Hebrews 13:5
Christ talked about “the deceptive power of riches” in Matthew 13:22
Here’s the point:
A Christian ( or whatever your religious belief system is; I’m only using Christianity as an example. ) possessed of riches is in a position to do a great amount of good on behalf of others.
The problem is all too often the possession of money leads to the pursuit of selfish pleasure.
Money opens to door to opportunities hitherto denied and the temptation to enjoy these “pleasures” becomes so strong that helping people is no longer important.
So since the Bible warns against “the deceptive power of riches” and “those who are determined to be rich”, is there a difference between “wealth” and “riches”?
“Money is a mirror. An examination of your money and the way you use money is a way of understanding yourself in the same way that a mirror provides a way of seeing yourself.”
Difference Between Wealth And Riches
When you look at being rich and being wealthy, both seem to be synonymous with having a lot of money.
However, there’s a big difference between the two.
If you notice, you hear a lot about so-called “get-rich-quick” schemes but there are no “get-wealthy-quick” schemes.
The main difference between being rich and being wealthy is knowledge and experience.
Wealthy people know how to make money while rich people only have money.
Rich people are motivated by money but wealthy people are motivated by their dreams and purpose.
Wealthy people work to build sustainable financial assets that can last for years.
Rich people, on the other hand, may get money in an instant such as an inheritance, the sale of a business asset, winning a lottery, or from some lawsuit resulting in a large financial settlement.
When you acquire a large sum of money without the grind of actually earning it you’re considered rich, and usually, these types of individuals inevitably lose all of their money in a short period of time.
What Does Being Wealthy Mean?
Being wealthy ultimately has more to do with financial freedom. It means you’re not living paycheck to paycheck.
In essence, wealthy people are financially free, while rich people are not. Rich people, in many cases, come into their riches.
Wealthy people learn a skill and become financially independent because they have learned to solve problems and get compensated for it.
Wealthy people have learned how to create a life of financial freedom whereas rich people have not.
Also, w
It means you have either saved enough that you don’t need to work every day to sustain your lifestyle or you’ve built up enough residual income sources that you’re getting paid in your sleep.
The point of all of this is to STOP getting caught up in the moral implications of creating wealth.
You are not contributing to yourself, your family, or society by maintaining an attitude of lack, limitation, and scarcity.
The key to success is not to pursue riches, but to create wealth.
The BEST way to create wealth online starting with absolutely nothing is through affiliate marketing.
Why People Fail To Create Wealth Online
Creating online wealth is certainly not as easy as many people try to make you think.
On average, It can take three years before an online marketer can build up to a full-time income, and over five years before a marketer can become independently wealthy.
It is very hard work and can take a tremendous amount of time.
However, in the long run, it is certainly worth it!
Do some people accomplish it faster? Yes, but it’s the exception, not the rule.
The majority of minds have been poisoned with the whole “get rich quick” and “make money fast” garbage.
You CAN NOT “get rich quick” online! It’s a total lie.
Most people take at least a few years, which is why the vast majority of people never get there because they quit before they reach the point of finally achieving wealth online.
It takes a lot of dedication and perseverance.
In order to create true online
Affiliate marketing, content websites, and blogging are three primary ways to create wealth starting from nothing.
From A Man Who Went From Broke To Millions
According to Grant Cardone, anyone can get rich, if they will make the decision to do so.
“Regardless of your current economic condition, where you live, or what you do, you can become wealthy,” he writes in “The Millionaire Booklet: How To Get Super Rich. ”
Cardone was a former drug addict who became a self-made entrepreneur.
He owns companies that do nearly $100 million in annual sales.
Cardone went from flat broke to seven figures by following a few simple steps, as outlined in “The Millionaire Booklet”.
He states: “The reality is, what I have created financially in my life is very simple, and that is why it will work for you,” he writes.
There are no guarantees you’ll start earning as much as Cardone.
However, if the outlined steps in “The Millionaire Booklet” worked for him, a former addict, they can work for you.
Money Can’t Buy Happiness – But It Can Help Relieve Tremendous Stress
Many of you reading this post will say:” Yeah…all of this sounds good…but money can’t buy happiness.”
No, it can’t…
However, think about the stress you deal with every day. According to a 2017 article by CNBC, a staggering 78% of full-time workers live paycheck to paycheck.
Living paycheck to paycheck is BRUTAL. I’ve done it for years. It’s horrible.
It facilitates stress, which contributes to ALL major diseases. All of them!
New transmission for the car. An unexpected illness. Expensive home repairs.
All of this can be extremely stressful if abundant financial resources aren’t available.
Will you have the money to compensate?
If there’s an elderly parent needing assistance, or a beloved pet gets ill, how will you take care of it without a financial cushion?
Without an adequate amount of money saved for life’s unexpected eventualities, in the days ahead comes tremendous amounts of emotional and mental pain and stress.
Imagine if you didn’t have to scrape for money, didn’t have to ask or beg friends and family for help.
But The LORD Will Provide…Let’s Look At Some Examples
I make it a rule never to discuss religion or politics.
However, this statement must be addressed:
“The LORD will provide everything you need…Just rely on Him.”
Let’s look at two of the wealthiest men in the Bible, Job and King Solomon. Job chapter 1, vs. 3 says the following:
“His livestock amounted to 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 1,000 cattle, and 500 donkeys, along with a very large number of servants, so that he became the greatest of all the people in the East.”
By the standards of Job’s day, he was considered wealthy. How did Job amass all of that wealth?
Did Job pray and pray and woke up one morning and all of that wealth was sitting at his front door?
Did the LORD just give it to him?
No.
In other words, Job did the necessary work, and The LORD blessed it.
That’s how it works.
Let’s look at King Solomon. He was fabulously wealthy. Just how wealthy?
King Solomon knew the value of money. He wrote: “Bread is for the laughter of the workers, and the wine itself makes life rejoice, but money is what meets a response in all things” – Ecclesiastes 10:9
How Much Gold Did Solomon Have?
When Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.E.) captured the Persian city of Susa, he is said to have taken some 1,180 tons [1,070 t] of gold from it and almost 7,000 tons [more than 6,000 t] from the whole of Persia.
This was the gold King Solomon amassed during his reign.
So when compared with these reports, the Bible’s description of King Solomon’s gold is not exaggerated.
Did Almighty God just drop all of that wealth in Solomon’s lap just because he endeavored to be a righteous man?
Absolutely not.
Solomon had administrators and assistants who bartered and did business with the nations around him.
There was a considerable amount of business activity that was the catalyst for Solomon creating his wealth.
The gold didn’t sit there collecting dust, nor did it just materialize out of nowhere. There was actual work involved to increase Solomons’s net worth.
What About Riches In the Bible?
So…the reason why you’re broke is that you were NEVER taught HOW to create wealth.
Therefore, because those you associate with were NEVER taught how to create wealth, the cycle of lack, limitation,
What I found interesting is the term “Riches” is spoken of negatively in the Bible. For instance:
- Proverbs 11:28: “The one trusting in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like the foliage.”
- Proverbs 30:8: “Remove untruth and lies far from me. Give me neither poverty nor riches.“
- Matthew 6:24b: “You cannot slave for God and for Riches.”
- Matthew 13:22: “As for the one sown among the thorns, this is the one hearing the word, but the anxiety of this system of things and the deceptive power of riches choke the word,
In some instances, the words riches and wealth are used interchangeably to mean the same thing, however, there is a distinct difference.
For example, if someone won the lottery for 10 million dollars, they are considered both “rich” and “wealthy”, depending on your interpretation.
However, a “rich” person usually has not worked to amass his fortune, as in the case of the 10 million dollar lottery winner.
There’s no sacrifice, no years of hard work, and no personal development that resulted from his financial windfall.
He became “rich” with no emotional attachment to his fortune.
A Diff erence In Mindset
In the case of the “wealthy” person, in most instances, it took years of hard work and sacrifice to SLOWLY become build their fortune.
In most cases, wealth was created by finding a way to solve other people’s problems.
There is a totally
You may disagree with what I just explained, and that’s perfectly ok.
It still doesn’t change the facts…
In Conclusion
Now that you understand the difference between wealth and riches, how will this information affect your bottom line?
What can you do about your situation?
Change it.
Make a decision.
Take FULL responsibility for your financial situation, like Grant Cardone and tens of thousands of others have.
Get absolutely clear about what you want financially.

“I do think money is extremely important. But what I care about isn’t money – what I really care about is freedom. Money gives you freedom to make choices. I am very clear about what I want and what I don’t want in life. And what I want is the freedom to buy whatever I want, eat whatever I want, and go wherever I want. And freedom costs money.”

In one of the quotes it said *money brings freedom”. Only for that freedom you want to be rich or wealthy. Being rich is not a bad thing. Let ‘s think. Sometimes I want to help someone when i see that they are having financial hardship, but i can’t, because i am in my own rat race, i can hardly meet my needs. But if I had the money i would be happy to help that person out, because the joy that you get by helping people out is greater than just joy of having money. This is just for me., but i know there are others who think like me.
