AMZCoin – Big Money Or Was This Another Cryptocurrency Scam?

AMZCoin is a company that claims to operate its cryptocurrency coin, which allows you to make money by investing in its platform. I have decided to look at it objectively to learn about AMZCoin – Is This Another Cryptocurrency Scam?

When someone asks you about a make-money-online opportunity, you want to dig deeper to ensure it is legit and trusted. This post will provide you with an unbiased opinion about AMZCoin.

Is AMZCoin A Scam Or Legit?

If you visit this website for the first time, one thing certainly stands out. It’s because AMZCoin is a faceless company. In other words, the company’s people have refused to reveal their identities. The year 2019 is when its domain (amzcoin.technology) was registered.

As explained on its website, VISIONAIRA has invested in different sectors, after which AMZcoin was finally created and launched. One of the reasons I decided to research the owners of this company was VISIONAIRA. It is AMZCoin’s parent company, and Andre Cunha is the brain behind its operation and existence.

His Facebook profile revealed that he is based out of Portugal. Although AMZCoin is a European company, it is being promoted primarily in Indonesia. According to Alexa statistics, over 30% of its traffic comes from this location.

Is This Registered Legally?

I could hardly find any information on the owner, Andre Cunha, besides his Facebook profile. Due to language barriers, I cannot put together a profile on Andre Cunha that says little to nothing about the AMZCoin business operations. At this point, there are questions concerning whether this company is legitimate.

When you look at AMZCoin through the government regulatory bodies, AMZCoin functions as a Ponzi scheme. You invest in AMZCoin and cash out through AMZCoin’s internal exchange. Since AMZCoin uses recycled invested funds from new investors to pay withdrawal requests, those transactions define AMZCoin as a Ponzi scheme.

Furthermore, there is a concern that AMZCoin is committing securities fraud. Frankly, I wouldn’t say that any company operating under these circumstances is legit. AMZCoin openly admits its MLM opportunity is a passive investment scheme. This requires them to register their AMZ securities offering with financial regulators. I cannot find any indication that AMZCoin is registered legally in any market in which it solicits investments (Portugal and Indonesia), which means that AMZCoin operates illegally.

Are There Any Retail Products?

AMZcoin has no retail products for sale to the public apart from the business opportunity itself. However, you can take part in its membership affiliate program. This enables you to market its membership for some paid commissions. When the primary source of revenue is from membership fees from new affiliates, and there are no retail sales to the general public, financial regulators consider this a Ponzi scheme.

What Is The Payment Plan?

Affiliates of AMZcoin do make some investments in AMZ. Those affiliates that have invested more than 10,000AMZ will be allowed to withdraw their coins. This is in exchange for the advertised return though. The ROI is listed below:

• 3 months investment yields a monthly ROI of 0.5%
• 6 months investment yields a monthly ROI of 1%
• 12 months investment yields a monthly ROI of 2%
• 18 months investment yields a monthly ROI of 3%
• 24 month’s investment yields a monthly ROI of 4%

AMZ is how returns are paid. It should be noted that AMZ isn’t listed publicly. Instead, it is being controlled by the company (AMZcoin). Funds that have been invested down the levels will attract referral commissions. These are:

• Level 1 attracts 10%
• Level 2 attracts 3-5%

These commissions are paid in euros. It is possible to have them withdrawn at any time through bitcoin. Registering with AMZCoin doesn’t attract any fee. In other words, it is completely free of charge. AMZCoin is similar to other cryptocurrency MLM platforms I’ve reviewed on this blog, such as:

My Final Verdict

Based on the above, there is no doubt that AMZCoin was a scam. It was supposedly formed to help businesses and their customers receive as well as pay funds. The problem is that there isn’t anyone using AMZCoin at the moment over any of those payment methods that are established and trusted. Apart from its coin never going public, it didn’t have any regulator to monitor its activities.

Creating such coins costs very little. If I am to give my honest opinion on AMZCoin and what it represents, I will say that it is just another Ponzi scheme that people should stay away from. You invest while the company will set AMZ coins’ value. Eventually, you will cash via its internal exchange. When you withdraw, such funds are from other members’ recycled investments. Furthermore, there is a need to ensure the company is registered with legal bodies and financial regulators, which AMZCoin is not. These types of crypto/ponzi companies, I would never recommend anyone to participate in!

Warning: The RED Flags of Schemes and Scams Online

These are some things you need to watch out for with cryptocurrency multi-level marketing companies, as they are red flags.

1. A FREE Trial Is NOT Offered By the Company

This is a big one to look out for. Most information products are worthless, and if you could jump directly into those products and “try them out” before investing in them, you would never invest in low-quality substances. That is why they hide behind a payment. If their information is so good, should they not prove it by giving you a taste?

2. Companies That Don’t Clearly Outline Pricing

If you go to a sales page for a product and they don’t disclose the price clearly, you will likely get “duped.”  Any legitimate company will offer clarity on pricing and have a pricing page on their website.  MANY companies in this industry HIDE their pricing; it is unethical and will almost certainly scam you. Also, if the company charges hundreds or even thousands of dollars for their products or for joining their business “opportunity,” it should be of concern.

3. MLM Companies That Use Video Sales Pages / Squeeze Pages

If you visit a “sales page” and the only thing you see on the website is hype or promises of a HUGE ROI (return on investment), this will almost certainly be an expensive, overpriced scam. This marketing tactic hides pricing and hides the product itself. They typically ask for your email or a small payment, and then you will be put through an extensive and expensive sales funnel.

Trustpilot is where you should get genuine consumer reviews about products/services you plan on buying.  If a company doesn’t exist on this website or has a rating lower than 4.5 out of 5 stars, you may not want to get involved with the company at all. Consider companies, businesses, and platforms with GREAT Trustpilot ratings and minimize the prospect of getting scammed and losing hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars.

5. Multi-Level Marketing Companies That Sell “Riches” Without Telling You the Process

If you are being pushed by the idea that you are going to be “rich” without telling you what you will be doing to earn this money (in a specific way), then they are selling the sizzle…and chances are there is no “steak” after you make your purchase.  Avoid programs like this like a plague.

6. Companies Without an Easy Way to Contact Them

If you don’t have a direct way to contact the company to answer questions about their program, they are hiding behind something. That is the first clue, and I recommend you test it. If the company has an email address, email it. If you don’t get a response within 48 hours at most, then that is probably the sort of help you can expect in the future.

7. Companies That Don’t Offer Direct Access/Communication with the Owners

Who owns the product?  Can you get help and communicate with them directly?  If NOT, then this program is more than likely in the business of taking your money.  CEOs in the opportunity world who are unwilling to communicate with their customers directly have a “too good for you” mentality, which should be avoided.

8. Companies That Are “Information” Only

If they provide you with “ideas” about creating a business without offering you all the tools, services, and ongoing support you need to succeed online, you will have a tough time succeeding. Many companies charge hundreds of dollars for their information and then inform you that to be successful, you must purchase additional tools to use the techniques taught.
