Is Survey Squad Legit - Can You Make Money With This?

Welcome to this review of Survey Squad. This post will attempt to answer the question Is Survey Squad Legit?

The company says that they are willing to give you cash for just giving them your opinions.

This sounds like a hassle-free and easy way for making some extra income online right?

Though, the question is whether Survey Squad is a scam survey website, legitimate, or wasting your time?

This is exactly what you are going to find when you finish reading my review of them.

Normally, paid survey websites fall within the “futile endeavor” category, because at the end of the day you’ll land up earning not more than $1/hour.

With this being said, I’ll get started with our review of Survey Squad!

Is Survey Squad Legit – Overview of the Website

Is Survey Squad Legit?

I browsed to SurveySquad and to be honest, I got the impression that it is an outdated website.

The site is essentially a one-page website using default images with the ‘Join Now’ link.

Focus Forward (name changed to Survey Squad now) makes its money by linking companies and brands to consumers to receive feedback on ad campaigns or products to make them better.

They say they will pay you to take part in mobile and online surveys, open sessions, and telephone interviews.

Looking at the FAQs page, you see that the company has been operating since 2003 out of the US. Their Twitter account has a healthy 15.4k following.

The company makes use of a point-based scheme wherein 1000 points equals $1.00; this means you have to accumulate 20000 points for $20 to even request a payout.

Registering and Profile Details

Is there any better way to review this website than becoming its member and testing it myself? So, this is exactly what I’ve done.

I pressed “Join Now” and was greeted by a basic registration form that asked me for my details such as name, address, state, and phone number.

The calendar for my Date of Birth was a true nuisance to use, and give me another ground to make sure that the site was not updated at all…

Profile Details

I believed signing up is going to be straightforward, but completing the profile section is a totally different story altogether.

To complete your profile you’ll need to complete seven surveys in a successful manner and that too in detail.

These surveys are the ones you will not be paid for.

The surveys ask you questions about the types of technologies you use at home if you are the primary decision-maker for buying things on the Internet if you’ve got any pre-existent medical conditions or not and et cetera.

However, when you spend 20 minutes filling out information and you are told you do not qualify, this can become a massive letdown.

This is very disappointing and ends up making people feel like their time has been wasted.

I do not like the fact that you are providing Survey Squad with a lot of data about you for free.

I also know some paid survey websites that make the bulk of their earnings by sending spam emails to you.

These types of sites ask for your mobile numbers, work phone, and home phone, and this makes me nervous because you risk getting cold calls or spam emails from businesses that this website sold your data.

People’s Opinions About Survey Squad

The company scored an average of 2.1 stars from a potential 5-star grade from SurveyPolice with a few issues surfacing repeatedly.

I will list some most common issues here:

1. Waiting 6 weeks to get checks

I believe strongly that when you’re looking to earn money on the Internet you have to be paid for the work you do and receive payouts in a punctual manner.

It looks as though Survey Squad is having some problems doing this…

They pay just $1 to $3 an hour and make you wait six weeks for payouts.

There have also been reports from their members who’ve had to undergo a 16-week wait period just to get their check.

My suggestion is to use companies that use PayPal to pay as the payout is instantly received – there is no waiting for your money.

2. Not qualifying

Many members have complained of not qualifying for any surveys regardless of responding to all email invites for more than a year.

I see this as disappointing because of all these questions that they have asked you in the beginning when you registered with them.

I understand that many companies want product or service feedback only from a particular group of individuals (demographics), but this website has already got numerous data points in your profile that included race, age, and place of residence.

Is Survey Squad Legit Or A Scam?

Is Survey Squad Legit - Can You Make Money With This?

With everything considered, I do not think the company is a SCAM.

However, I believe there are huge issues they should look into for making it profitable for members.

For example, paying members more money for surveys and certain tasks and not marking users unfit for surveys when they are 20 minutes into the survey.

However, the company has got positive reviews from members who have been satisfied with the website.

The length of time it takes to recieve your payout is another issue that needs to improve.

Although it may take forever to receive your payout, you do eventually get them, so in this regard, they are not fraudulent.

Survey Squad is similar to other legit but low-paying survey websites I’ve reviewed on this blog such as:

Is It Worthwhile?

Taking a look at some of these so-called gainful survey websites that are out there, you are barely going to earn just about $10 per month.

Even with legit survey sites like Gain.ggSuperpay.mePanda ResearchTimebucksRewarding WaysySensePTCShare, and OneDay Rewards, you are only making pennies on the dollar.

Survey Squad is no different – you’re only making pennies on the dollar!

The ridiculously low payout is why I’ve quit taking these surveys entirely and discovered how I could create my very own online business instead and earn more.

The Problem With Filling Out Surveys For Money

Regarding survey websites, you are literally working for pennies on the dollar when it comes to the amount of money you actually make in comparison to the amount of time spent on these surveys.

As a matter of fact, filling out surveys is one of the worst ways to make money online.

When you compare the amount of time spent with the money you make, the compensation isn’t worth it.

It doesn’t matter how active you try to be on these survey/GPT websites.

Regardless if you complete surveys, download cash offers, take polls, complete tasks and refer people to generate points and commissions, you will always make very little money.

Even if you try to combine a number of survey panels in an effort to make decent money, you will always fall short.

Survey panels were not designed for you to make good money from.

Another problem with survey websites is you don’t qualify for every survey and most survey websites don’t send you surveys on a regular basis.

Similarly, with survey/GPT websites, you are never in control of the money you make because you are not in control of the actual platform from which the surveys originate.

What does that mean for you?

It means that you can never rely on survey websites to make a full-time income and that you really need to build your own online business.

Notice what some current Wealthy Affiliate members have to say:

The choices yours, my friend…

Before you decide that this is not the right time or you’re “too tired” or you have “other commitments”, consider these words:
