You Just Got Scammed – Now What?

The internet pimp-daddy above got your wallet and he appreciates your money

Nonetheless, you’re so angry that steam is rising from your head.

While trying to buy that shiny, new “make money online” program, the scammers got you!

You’ve been “Got”.

Sweet Cyber Daddy pimp-slapped your wallet and you’ve been violated three ways to Sunday.

He urinated on your leg and told you it was raining…and you believed him!

Cha-Ching! Cha-Ching!

If you just got scammed or been scammed in the past, I’m going to try to ease your pain a little.

Don’t Feel Too Embarrassed – It Can Happen To Anyone.

It has happened to me on a few occasions, so I can speak with authority here.

At the time I didn’t know anything about my #1 Recommended platform for building a profitable online business so I was jumping from one so-called program to another.

Honestly, the most important thing you can do here is to take full responsibility for your mistake.

Just own it. You made a bad decision.

Anger is a normal reaction when you just got scammed.

You are justifiably angry because your wallet just got “Got” by scammers at the tune of hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

I was really angry – more so at myself! I thought “How could I’ve been so gullible? Couldn’t I see this for what it is?”

Scammers are constantly refining their craft to make them as effective as possible. They know what works and what doesn’t.

These “scammers” are some of the vilest characters inhabiting cyberspace.

Therefore, the purpose of this post is to discuss the hard facts that lead people to catch Shiny Object Syndrome – the “disease” thatkeeps on giving.

Therefore, the purpose of this post is to discuss the hard facts that lead people to catch Shiny Object Syndrome – the “disease” that keeps on giving to the scammers.

Just Got Scammed – Why Does This Happen

There is one primary reason scams are so prevalent online.

They contract Shiny Object Syndrome. Shiny Object Syndrome is the tendency to chase “something new” — be it a new business idea, tool, or goal — rather than to stay focused on one primary goal.

Therefore, not having clarity about your online business is the main way to catch Shiny Object Syndrome.

Just Got Scammed – Now What Are You Going To Do?

Shiny Object Syndrome comes from an unrealistic view of the internet as a magical place to make lots of money in a short period of time without a lot of hard work.

The Shiny Objects

What exactly are these “shiny objects?” The magical, fairy-tale promises are as follows:

“Make $3,000 in 30 days or your money back”

“Follow my system and rake in $10K in 90 days.”

“Set it and forget it – Make money while you sleep with my Done-For-You system!”

“Set up your new mini-site in just 30 minutes and start making money ASAP!”

“My No-cost business will make you $500 a week…”

“Quit your job in 60 days by following my Wealth Formula.”

“Make your computer your own personal ATM – Make $200 daily with just 1 hour of work a day!

“Look at how I made $10K by just sending ONE email to my list!”

“Build your 6-figure online business quickly and quit your job with just 5 hours of work per week!”

“Use this ONE secret method I uncovered that helped me gain 20,000 visitors in ONE week!”

“Earning $30K in 90 days! Look how I earn money while touring the great cities of Europe”

“Just Plug-In to my can’t fail system and start making money online in less than 30 days.”

That’s right – all of the above and anything similar to them are SHINY OBJECTS!

What I love about the online platform I use to make money online is there are NO shiny objects to deal with!

Just Got Scammed – Why You Were Acting Like A Child

This is similar to a child attracted to anything that’s shiny, glittery and new, moves around or makes a sound.

Young children give attention to any “shiny object” that captures their attention.

As a child approaches a new object that he’s never seen, he’s intrigued and curious at first, but his interest quickly fades as the item loses its glitz appeal.

But wait a minute! He’s the next new shiny thing, only to lose interest and seek the next new shiny object!

You know that you have the symptoms of shiny object syndrome – a.k.a. “you’ve been GOT” – if you belong to the following:

  • You have a list of business ideas but nothing gets executed.
  • You’re always starting new goals but never see them through to the finish.
  • Moving around from one internet course to another – allowing yourself to be enticed by the outlandish claims of each course.
  • You have a bad habit of jumping from one goal to the next rather than sticking with what you’re doing and seeing it through to the end.
  • Constantly registering new domain names and launching new websites, but you never finish the work on those websites and you have a ridiculous collection of unfinished projects.
  • You have paid for a collection of tools, plugins, and software that you rarely use – you bought them because you thought you might need them one day…

The Symptoms of Shiny Object Syndrome

At the heart of it, the issue with the shiny object syndrome is distraction and a total lack of discipline and focus.

You are constantly drawn to new ideas and tools and abandoning important goal reaching tasks in the process.

When you’re constantly distracted and lack clarity, you never get things done; always on to something new, rather than completing your current plans.

You give too much time and attention to useless noise and garbage on the internet, rather than building the fundamentals.

Since you never get good enough at something, you never reap the rewards true financial independence brings.

You’re constantly chasing new things, and spending too much time wallowing in the basics, and never becoming an expert in your niche or field.

What’s Really At The Root Of The Problem

Trying to find an easy way out of hard work and many, many months of learning the right way to make money online is the root of the problem.

Earning money online comes as a result of years that you spend building your audience and a relationship with them.

You learn how to solve other peoples problems and they pay you for it.

Building trust with your audience is very time-consuming and requires perseverance and a lot of hard work.

People look for an “easy way out”. They buy into someone’s lie that you can change your financial circumstances in 30-60-90 days.

There Is No Easy Way Out

They’re looking for that “magic bullet” when no such “magic bullet” exists.

Very few people want to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work necessary to build a sustainable online business.

If you’re not willing to put in the hard work for 1 to 2 years to reap a lifetime of reward, then this isn’t the business for you.

You read correctly – 1 to 2 years to build your website/blog to the point where it’s producing a meaningful income.

There Are No “Magic Bullets”

Just Got Scammed – Now What Are You Going To Do?

“Magic bullets”, which are so-called easy ways out of a difficult problem or supposed easy tickets to success, really don’t exist.

They never have!

At the end of the day you still need to put in the hard work and time to achieve your desired results. Until you do, change can never happen.

1 to 2 years is the average time it takes for the everyday person to see a generous profit from their online business.

However, for some, it takes longer because of poor work ethic, failing to take responsibility for their mistakes, or extreme personal circumstances.

Personal development is not easy. It’s hard and frustrating at times.

Cultivating the right mindset required to build an online business was not meant to be quick, as those lying scammers would have you believe.

It takes tremendous time and effort to establish a worthy goal and achieve success. You work on personal development day in and day out.

Learn From It And Move Forward

What the low-life scammers will never tell you is that it’s okay to be slow.

It’s okay to take your time and figure things out the right way.

It’s okay to when you’re behind schedule and need to catch up.

Online scammers who are desperately trying to convince you to buy into their lie want you to subject yourself to obscene standards and pursue ridiculous claims at the expense of your valuable time, hard-earned money and necessary relationships.

Take your time.

Figure things out at your own pace.

Never become complacent about your business.

In conclusion, please understand this point:The sooner you stop looking for the so-called “magic bullet” to reach your goals, the faster you can be on your way to build a meaningful online business that will provide the life that you desire.

You’ll never hear yourself say “I Just Got Scammed”!

The elusive “magic bullet” of taking the easy way out does not exist – IT NEVER EXISTED FROM THE START, AND IT NEVER WILL…

Trust me…the fastest path to achieve your goals is to STOP looking for that “easy way out” and START WORKING toward building a meaningful financial future.

I’ve written a review of one of the best platforms available today that can help you build a consistently profitable online business.

In that review, you’ll see how ordinary people like you and I have learned how to make extraordinary incomes!

I’m glad you point out that it does take time and effort to get this going. To be honest, it took me over a year to get any affiliate commissions with my business! But once the rocket takes off, it really takes off (if you don’t take short cuts and cut corners in the beginning).

    Thanks again!

However, I recommend that you search the website and read the comments of other users. The content of the subject is very revealing and beautiful. Thank you for that.
