Survey Spotter Review – Can You Make Money With This?

Survey Spotter Review – Can You Make Money With This?

This blog post is entitled Survey Spotter Review – Legit or Scam?

Personally, I don’t think you will find anything meaningful from this platform.

The only thing you will be getting is a small list of survey websites and superficial information.

As far as making money from the website itself, you will be quite disappointed.

Survey Spotter Review – What Is Survey Spotter

Survey Spotter Review – Can You Make Money With This?
  • Name: Survey Spotter
  • Website: surveyspotter.com
  • Founder: In Hiding
  • Product Type: This website is a Survey Facilitator
  • Price: No Charge to Join
  • Rating: 2 out of 10

You cannot make money from the website itself.

Survey Spotter looks like most survey platforms, to get paid, you will have to sign up and take online surveys.

What Survey Spotter does is act as the middle-man between various survey websites and you.

Originally Survey Spotters services were only available in the United States, however, it’s now available in at least 10 other countries.

But is this platform a scam or legit?

This brief review will tell you all you need to know about this survey site, if it’s legit or a fraud, and if it is worth your precious time.

About Survey Spotter

You will barely find any information about the owner of this platform.

According to WHOIS.com, the website was registered by someone named “Caller Robin.”

Survey Spotter is a UK survey site that was registered on 5/23/2017.

There is no additional info about the owner or the parent company of the site.

The only thing you will find is that you can earn between 5-300 pounds every month when you register and take surveys.

All you need to do to earn is to sign up, take surveys, and receive rewards when you complete them.

Even though there is no information about the owners of this platform, I don’t want to conclude that Survey Spotter is a scam just from that alone.

So I signed up to know the truth about it.

Option One – Access to a Shortlist of Survey Websites

Usually, you are provided access to a member area when you join a survey/GPT website.

However, Survey Spotter takes a different approach.

After providing your name and email address, you will be taken to a different screen to choose the survey companies you want to register for.

It appears like you are not really accessing surveys on the platform. Instead, you are given a list of survey websites you can join.

However, they make it look like you are taking surveys on their website.

Thus, have at the back of your mind that you cannot participate in surveys on Survey Spotter, you will only be given a list of survey websites.

When you are done selecting the survey companies you want to join, you will receive an email from Survey Spotter with links to the actual survey websites.

Clicking on the link with take you to the main site to register, fill in your info, and take surveys.

This platform doesn’t have a members’ area or a back office.

You will be asked to check your email address after you have selected the survey websites on the list provided.

At this point you get nothing more… I feel signing up with this platform is a waste of precious time.

They don’t have any survey to offer, the only thing you will get are links to actual survey sites.

In reality, you could easily find the list of “top survey websites” by doing a simple Google or YouTube search.

Option Two – Offers Via Email

After you register on Survey Spotter and choose from the list of links, you will start getting emails with offers.

If you accept to receive emails, you will receive lots of promotional offers.

The emails I received after verifying my email address registrations were not meaningful at all.

I highly recommend setting up a dummy email account for situations like this.

With your dummy email account, you’re not going to be too upset when the massive amounts of spam start rolling in.

I received different emails that promote survey offers that allow you to earn rewards.

Personally, I found the email offers spammy and a total waste of time.

 How Do You Get Paid?

You will find some large logos on the site that shows rewards you can earn when you join.

They make it look like you can earn rewards on this site, but it is not so.

You will not earn any reward from Survey Spotter.

The only way you will be rewarded is when you join the actual survey sites that sent you the link.

The reward logos seen on the site can be tempting, but the truth is you are signing up with a website that will receive commissions to promote offers to you.

When you register, you will be given different survey websites to choose from, followed by a message to check your email.

Below is a list of the survey sites you’ll get email links to:

  1. MySurvey
  2. Global Test Market
  3. 20Cogs
  4. Opinion Outpost
  5. Vindale Research
  6. MarketAgent
  7. MyIyo
  8. OhMyDosh!
  9. Green Panthera
  10. InboxPounds

My Verdict

From what you have read so far, I feel this platform has nothing interesting to offer.

Frankly, I do not see any reason why you need to sign up.

It’s okay to promote other survey sites, provided they are legit, but they need to be more transparent so that people who want to join will know what they are signing up for.

The only thing SurveySpotter does is lure people to join and promise them rewards only to redirect them to other survey websites.

I don’t think it’s worth your time to sign up for a site that claims to offer rewards when the only thing they do is provide a list of other survey platforms.

Whether you are in the UK, US, or Canada, regardless of your location, you don’t need to join this platform.

Besides superficial information and a list of survey platforms, you are not getting anything meaningful.

Is Survey Spotter a Scam?

Survey Spotter is not a scam, but some people may feel that it is because initially, you may think that you’re actually getting surveys from Survey Spotter.

Many people expected it to be a survey website, however, it’s just as the name implies – this website “Spots” Surveys for you.

Regardless if Survey Spotter is a survey “facilitator” or they had their own surveys, completing them for money is a complete waste of time.

Survey Spotter is similar to legit but low-paying survey platforms I’ve reviewed on this blog such as:

You Are Making Pocket Change With Online Surveys

Survey Spotter Review – Can You Make Money With This?

Regarding survey websites, you are making very little profit when it comes to the amount of money you actually make in comparison to the amount of time spent on these surveys.

As a matter of fact, filling out surveys is one of the worst ways to make money online.

When you compare the amount of time spent with the money you make, it’s literally “pennies on the dollar.”

It doesn’t matter how active you try to be on these survey/GPT websites.

Regardless if you complete surveys, download cash offers, take polls, complete tasks and refer people to generate points and commissions, you will always make very little money.

Another problem with survey websites is you don’t qualify for every survey and most survey websites don’t send you surveys on a regular basis.

Similarly, with survey/GPT websites, you are never in control of the money you make because you are not in control of the actual platform from which the surveys originate.

What does that mean for you during this COVID-19 pandemic?
