What Is Operation 10K – Big Money Or Big Disappointment?
Welcome to my review of Operation 10K. I’ve been asked What is Operation 10K and can new marketers make money with this?
This is another platform presented by Matthew Neer and Desmond Ong.
What I do like is that these guys are totally transparent.
In other words, they are right in front of their product -good, bad or indiffrent.
They’re not trying to hide the fact that they’re the originators of Operation 10K.
These guys are proud owners of their product and are right out in front promoting it.
Unlike so many so-called products I’ve reviewed on this blog whert the owners are delibetately in hiding.
Products where the “owner” has a FAKE name, and
So kudos to these guys for taking responsibility for their product and not hiding who they are!
The question is can you make money with the Operation $10K platform?
We’re going to find out.
In my review, I will show you What Is Operation $10K and whether it is worth your time and money.

What Is Operation $10K – Is It All Hype And Big Promises
Desmond Ong and Matthew Neer, creators of Operation $10K, have made a bold claim.
They claim that anyone who purchases their program will be able to earn over $11,000 within 30 days.
For this reason, many are asking What Is Operation 10K, and can you REALLY make money with it?
In fact, he stressed that anyone who only wants to make $100 to $200 per month shouldn’t even consider buying the program.
Desmond Ong, in the sales video, makes it clear that he stands behind these claims.
Also, Mr. Ong promises to hold each person by hand.
He promises to
Coupled with the fact that he precisely said it’s hype-free, anyone would love to jump on it.
He claims that the method taught in his program is one that has worked for him and his students.
In the Sales video, he claims Operation $10K is a simple 4 step system that can earn you at least $2,228/week.
You Have To Make A Sacrifice Of Time
Let me make this very clear:
Anyone legit in this business knows this one fact:
Making large sums of money online cannot be achieved by some push-button system.
You have to put in massive amounts of time and hard work to see those kinds of results.
That’s the honest truth.
If it REALLY were that easy far more people would make their living as affiliate marketers!
For example, Wealthy Affiliate is the Most Popular Affiliate Marketing Program on the Internet Today.
It’s been active for many years helping people to make money online.
Even with a platform like Wealthy Affiliate, you have to devote a certain amount of time to your online business on a daily or weekly basis.
So-called “push-button systems” are a fantasy.
That has NEVER been the reality
Ferraris, Holidays, and Las Vegas
In the sales video for Operation 10K, we see Ferraris, holidays, and Las Vegas.
We also see scenes of partying and shenanigans, and a pick-up in a private jet.
All of which makes you think: “Man! That’s the kind of lifestyle I want!”
Also, I’m thinking: “Is all of this flash and pomp necessary for this video? Really?”
I’m all for visualization and the law of attraction in my life.
However, when it comes to getting details of a program to help me make money online, all I want are the details.
I want to know how this program can change my financial situation.
“Hit The Button”
Near the end of the video Matthew Neer and Desmond Ong are having a conversation about the product Operation 10K.
Desmond mentions that he only has an hour available as he is off to a seminar.
He tells Matthew to “hit the button to start the campaign.”
After they come back from hours of partying, they should see commissions have started coming in.
This is all hype.
You don’t just “hit the button” and commissions start rolling in.
This interaction in the video was designed to give the impression that all you have to do is set up Operation 10K, “hit the button”, and in a few hours you’ll start seeing comissions pour into your bank account.
In the real world, that’s not how internet marketing works!
This interaction in the video was designed to show you that all it takes is an hour to set up Operation 10K and start raking profits.
The plain fact of the matter is regardless of the platform, it takes a period time to set up a profitable affiliate marketing business.
If anyone tells you otherwise, they’re flat out lying to you!
How Does Operation $10K Work?
The idea behind Operation $10K sounds simple.
Create your low-cost digital product which you will advertise through affiliate marketplaces.
The idea here is to promote your product through affiliate marketplaces like ClickBank or Warrior Plus.
I am not a fan of either Clickbank or Warrior Plus digital products, because they tend to be overhyped and of low quality.
If you are new at online marketing, I do not recommend creating your own product as a new marketer.
This is like putting the digital apple cart before the horse…
What Is Operation $10K On The Inside
The program uses 10 video-based training modules to teach you how to create your own digital product.
It also shows how to build an email list that will allow you to promote offers to your subscribers at a later date.
This is how you are instructed to make your money using the Operation 10K System.
Below is a list of what’s in each module:
Module Contents
1. Mindset
2. The System Blueprint for list building
3. How to Convert Your Subscriber List Into Sales
4. Choose Your Niche
5. How to Create Value For Your Digital Product
6. How to Create Your Low-End Digital Product
7. Think Outside the Box On Creating Your Digital Product
8. Setting Up Your Sales Funnel
9. Selling Your Product
10. Finding Affiliates to Market Your Product
Some of the upsells or OTOs (One Time Offers) are as follows:
- OTO 1: “Done-For-You BLG System”.
- 2nd OTO: “Desmond’s Launch Case Studies”.
- OTO 3: A One-On-One Skype coaching call with Desmond about the Key to 10K
Also, as this may be your first product, this isn’t going to be easy.
In fact, it’s downright difficult.
If you can get good affiliates to market your product, you are onto a winner.
It’s going to take a lot of time and massive amounts of effort to build the value of your product.
As a product creator, you must build up your reputation and online presence before you can see results.
Once Again…Here Come the Upsells…
What Is Operation $10K without the upsells?
While trying to purchase this product, I had to decline a lot of upsells.
Therefore, if you are someone who doesn’t like upsells, you may not like the buying process you’ll find here.
I have stated many times in multiple posts this fact:
A really good platform will have what the online marketer needs without the annoying, needless upsells.
Is Support Available with Operation $10K?
Additionally, Desmond uses Facebook as his support outlet.
This means he created a Facebook group dedicated to providing his students/customers with support for any of their issues.
Also, there’s a big, blue button in the members area that has the inscription “Join Desmond’s Student Group” written on it.
I clicked on it and it brought me to my Facebook account since I was already logged in on my computer.
The group is not very active and it can take a long time to get answers to specific issues.
On the other hand, the platform I recommend, Wealthy Affiliate, has 24/7 support with LiveChat and SiteSupport.
The support in Wealthy Affiliate is fast, very responsive, and available 24/7.
Rarely have I had to wait more than 3 hours for a reply from SiteSupport.
Even better, with LiveChat, I get answers and feedback almost immediately!
Are You Really Getting Value for Your Money?
Desmond Ong and Matthew Neer also provide their customers with a website he claims have a worth of $497.
However, you can only have this website if you sign up with the web hosting company he’s running an affiliate program with.
To clarify, this free $497 website is a bait he uses to lure his customers into subscribing for hosting services.
Subscribing to his recommended hosting in turn yields him recurrent commissions.
But is this website actually that valuable?
The answer is NO.
The website is actually worthless.
Why?
The reason is that every Desmond Ong customer has the same website and not just that; they also have the same content!
We all know that organic traffic comes from Google and other search engines.
These search engines do not like duplicate content.
This means that having duplicate content on your website won’t get you any organic traffic.

Does the Webinar Give Valuable Instruction?
In addition, another thing you’ll find in the member’s area is a webinar video that was created by Desmond Ong himself.
According to my research, this webinar is a total waste of time.
Most of the video gives an explicit rundown of how Desmond lives his lavish lifestyle.
All he did was show off the kind of life he has been able to live as a result of his internet marketing success.
According to him, this webinar was meant to be an inspiration.
However, why conduct a webinar showing off all they have.
People want to know What Is Operation $10K and how it can benefit them.
They aren’t interested in watching someone else’s material assets.
This webinar was supposed to be like a compass guiding your customers on what they need to do.
While inspiration is a good thing, the webinar cannot be regarded as instructional.
During the webinar, Desmond continued showing off photos of his vacations.
He also talked about the things he did and the fun he had.
Is this really the best way to help people learn how to make money online?
Pros and Cons Of Operation $10K
Matthew Neer, the man on the right of the above photo, is the other marketer behind Operation $10K.
I’ve found Neer to promote somewhat decent online platforms, except they’re somewhat complicated for “newbies” or new people.
Here is a link to another product co-created by Matthew Leer:
The Pros
- Legit way to make money online that works for experienced online marketers
- This is a low-priced product
- You do get some step-by-step training
- Desmond One and Matthew Neer use the same method to make money
The Cons
- Too many upsells
- Product creation is a difficult way to get started if you are a beginner
- Poor support
- Sales pages and videos are deceptive: It is not so easy to make money in this way as described by product creators.
Who Is Operation 10k For?
Although Operation $10K is NOT A SCAM, I DO NOT recommend Operation $10K for new online marketers
This is not an easy program for beginners.
Matthew Neer and Desmond Ong have tried to create a step by step training for people without experience.
However, this program is NOT a good fit if you are new to internet marketing.
Also, don’t let the sales video and “testimonials” fool you – this is NOT a good place to start for newbies.
Operation $10K is a better fit for intermediate to advanced marketers.
Creating a digital product and promoting it on one of the biggest online marketplaces is not an easy job.
As a matter of fact, it’s downright difficult.
The learning curve is quite steep and riddled with much trial and error.
Therefore, if you are not a beginner and you have some experience with online marketing, you could benefit from Operation $10K.
However, you should join only if you want to learn how to create digital products.
Many of these types of products are sold on platforms like Warrior Plus or Clickbank.
When I say “experience”, I mean if you have made some money online through affiliate marketing.
If you haven’t, it is better to rank yourself as a beginner that still has a lot to learn.
Not A Bad Product…But
Desmond Ong does a great job encouraging his students to come up with their own valuable, digital products.
However, he does a really bad job of showing them how to do it.
He doesn’t go in-depth in his lessons.
Most of the time he skims through information which is definitely going to be a loss to newbie followers
However, taking a closer look into the member’s area shows us the exact opposite of these claims.
Newbies might gain certain things from what Desmond Ong is offering.
Contrary to what the sales page says, don’t expect any kind of hand-holding to success.
His offer is a long way from that.
Let me be clear about something:
You are NOT going to earn $10,000 in the first 30 days as Desmond claims, or the first year for that matter.
So, if you’re asked What Is Operation $10K, you can say the following:
It’s a mediocre product at best that provides some good value.
