MyCleanOpinion is a site that rewards you when you complete surveys and give opinions on different subjects.
The site is legit; you can be paid with gift cards when you complete surveys.
However, the surveys on the site are limited, and the earning potential is on the low side.
So I don’t advise you to join because I feel you can use that time for something more fruitful.
How Do I Get Paid?
Before you can take a survey on this site, you have to sign up and provide your personal information.
MyClearOpinon is an established survey platform, and have been operating for more than 13 years.
One of the interesting things about this site is that you can claim your rewards at any given time; there is no payment threshold.
However, you can only cash out once per month.
You are not really earning money when you take a survey.
You are rewarded points that you can exchange for gift cards.
How Do I Become A Member?
The signup process is quite different compared to other survey websites I have reviewed.
Normally, when signing up for most survey sites, you will provide an email address, a link to join will be sent to the email, and then you will provide some information about yourself.
For MyClearOpinion, you will have to fill in your personal information first before providing your email.
You will be asked questions like:
- Your country of residence
- Place of birth
- Level of education
- Current status of employment
- The industry you work in
- Ethnicity
- Your address
- Where you get your news
The signup process is more in-depth compared to other survey platforms.
My concern is that they require you to provide sensitive information about yourself.
When it comes to giving sensitive data, I am always skeptical.
You can enter your email once you are done answering the questions. They will send you an email to confirm your subscription.
How Does It Work?
Signing up gives you access to participate in surveys. The surveys offered are of 3 types:
- Available
- Diary Surveys
- Profiler Surveys
- Personally, the first survey mentioned above is the best.
The surveys are simple, and you take them right away.
Diary surveys cannot be completed in a single day; it takes a series of days to complete this type of survey.
Profiler surveys won’t reward you when you take them; instead, it introduces you to more surveys.
You provide your information while filling out a survey, and you will be given more surveys later on if your profile matches what they want.
What Is Clearcash?
You do not really make money on this platform. You are rewarded points that can be converted into gift cards called Clearcash.
100 CLEARcash is equivalent to 1 US dollar. Here is a list of gift cards you can get:
- Amazon
- Virtual MasterCard
- CVS
- Best Buy
- Lowes (need 1000 points)
- Home Depot (requires 1000 points)
Also, you can choose to donate your CLEARcash to charities.
Limited Surveys Available
You need actual surveys if you are interested in making a decent amount from a survey website. But the issue with this platform is that they only offer few surveys.
You will qualify for surveys if you meet a specific demographic at the time the survey is offered.
Earning a significant amount on this platform will be difficult. You may receive an email now and then with a survey, but don’t expect to get one every day.
Earning a $10 gift card will take like forever, so I don’t think it’s worth your time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- No payout threshold. Most survey platforms only permit cash out when you reach a particular payment threshold. Some gift cards do have a threshold, but the best cards do not require one.
- When you complete the registration survey You will get your first 500 points. $5 dollars as a registration reward to get started is a good idea.
- Those 500 points you recieve for registering are the cashout threshold.
Cons
- The fact that they don’t offer cash as an option is a bad idea. Although gift cards are great, the majority of survey takers are there for the cash money!
- Limited surveys are available. You will not find plenty of surveys to partake in when you join this platform, which is something you need to earn a decent amount.
- Not eligible for most surveys. Most of the surveys on this platform are looking for a particular demographic, particularly people from the United States and Canada. So if you don’t fit into that demographic, you will not be able to participate.
Is MyClearOpinon Legit?
I think MyClearOpinion is a legit platform that offers real surveys that rewards you with gift cards when you complete them.
Unfortunately, the opportunities they offer are not plenty.
After providing in-depth information about yourself, you are not getting lots of surveys.
If you have the time to spare, you can join. But I don’t think it’s worth your time.
